How Pokemon Scarlet and Violet characters play Mario Party (1,2, and 3) and their mains.

Geeta: An absolute menace to play against. She will screw you over at every opportunity. Extremely competitive and ruthless. She probably mains Yoshi.

Rika: Chill, but somewhat competitive when it gets serious. Can be a troll, but shows mercy...sometimes. They main Daisy for sure.

Nemona: Similar to Geeta but would cuss you out if you screwed her over. Hordes items like a dragon. She probably mains Daisy, too.

Arven: Horrible at strategy. Loses most of the minigames, but somehow always miraculously wins the luck-based ones. Also cusses you out if you screw him over. I know for damn sure he'd main Donkey Kong.

Penny: Depends on their mood. Can be a menace or chill. Targets Nemona if playing against her. She mains Waluigi.

Carmine: Rages constantly. Curses like a sailor and is ruthless. Good at the minigames, but terrible with strategy. Will make your game hell if you cross her. She's either a Peach or Yoshi main.

Drayton: Acts like he does not care if he loses. Somehow ends up in first place during the last five turns and completely shits on Carmine. Very unpredictable. Also, a Donkey Kong main.

Iono: Overly dramatic, rages, and cries. Her actions are determined based on the comments of her viewers. Terrible at minigames that require button mashing. Definitely a Peach main.

Grusha: Apathetic about the game initially, and says something along the lines of: "I deserved that" when getting screwed over. However, he becomes more serious as the game goes on. Also does not show mercy unless he feels like it. He's hard to read but I see him using Peach unironically.

Oh it’s absolutely lazy of them, but I really liked that outfit so I’m less inclined to be snappy. Honestly this is still a step up from Variety and Mix alts. The Arc units are also kinda lazy shit when you get down to it, but I have no inclination to stay here, so I can kinda just roll with “Steven and Cynthia good” and maybe use my paid gems and return to tell them this is a great idea that will not lose subscriber. You know. As a joke.

Yeah, that’s brutal. I didn’t come back for any period since SS Gladion’s reveal, and to be honest I kinda wish I had Volo and Geeta just to have them. Though it is shitty Volo isn’t in the select scout for supports. Which means they think he sells better than Rika. Fascinating decision, would love to know if they’re right.

I blocked out the memory of Gholdengo. I hate that thing. I’m sure Lear’s good but I didn’t even check his kit. I can’t bring myself to do it. Not for Gholdengo, god’s mistake.

I haven’t really used Morgan at all, but I did get a copy. Her kit just seems decent for a free pair. I did have Evelyn and Dana at 20/20 before leaving though, so they’re EX now finally. Still dumb the MC can’t EX though.

Oh nice! I’m interested to see what you think. The game is a performance nightmare but I feel like structurally it’s decent. I have my own complaints besides, but if you can deal with the problems of how it runs I think you’ll like it.

SS Morty is a very good partner for SS Nemona, given the Sun demands. I think she lacks for a good third, though. Just like NY Lisia, there’s no good physical Fairy Zone option, so that multiplier is hard to access for her.

Appreciated. I’m kinda going into this with no expectation of anything. I don’t really know what i’d want to see. Maybe a Geeta alt to make up for my missing her debut. Also this should be Shauntal’s year. I’d say Caitlin alt but she already has Halloween.

To be fair, not many people even make it to the League, the fact that Larry decided he'll do it, because it's the fastest way without having to make Geeta look for a temporary replacement is all the better.

And...it kinda works???

I mean at the end of the day, this is pre Nemona as a Champion win, meaning that it's been a good long while since we last HAD a Champion. While Geeta is wondering about the ethics of it, it's only for like a couple of months.

Not to mention, like Galar, there seems to be a specific season for these Treasure hunts of sorts. So it's really just temporary all around.

Side note, for some fucking reason, my brain thought of Clavell as the second Elite Four member, just there because they STILL need a permanent member (and STILL before the Team Star incident). So basically imagine this fucking toddler comes in and takes the job you were temporarily holding.

It's just hilarious to me.

Anyways, that is truly the weirdest year for a lot of the students at the Academy, because "can you imagine having to fight Larry THREE TIMES"

The Rookidee she caught wasn't even one she caught in a ball. She just grabbed the round BORB and showed it to the League representative in the area like, "Pretty birdy!!!"

she spoils the shit out of that bird in the ways she's seen Larry do it, which is why this bird tolerates her Tinkaton as a Corviknight. :V

Ok so. I have Thoughts about pokemon sv now that I've finished it. This is your spoiler warning, details below the cut for the full main storyline. You've been warned.

I have to admit, I think this is probably my new favorite game.

Don't get me wrong, I'm just as disappointed with the lagging/glitches as everyone else! I even spent much of the first part of the game feeling mildly underwhelmed

But then I hit the final storyline

I enjoy games with good writing above all, graphics etc second. So I was hooked pretty early by Arven and Penny's storylines. No offense to Nemona, I love her, but I've done the gym challenge before, so I was way more intrigued by them. Especially with the air of mystery surrounding those plots

I was super surprised by pokemon handling such mature themes, too! Arvens struggle to feel loved by his parent(s) and the possibility of losing a beloved pet- and Penny's storyline about how often when victims of bullying stand up for themselves they're the ones who end up getting in trouble with teachers. I have personal experience with parts of both of these stories (losing a pet and bullying) so these hit me hard!

But then! Oohhhh then when I finished those three plots and the all came together for the final storyline?? Beautiful!!! I'm a sucker for seemingly unrelated things coming together for something even bigger

The writers actually did a great job of portraying a bunch of teenagers hanging out together. Each character remained true to themselves, while also sounding like a realistic group of kids.

As we got closer to the final boss there were some breadcrumbs to pick up on, so I was suspecting *something* was up, but when the final twist dropped my jaw actually fell open

It was so well written! I was not expecting it, but in hindsight all the details clicked together. That's the best kind of plot twist in my opinion. When I first saw AI Sada I thought it was her dead body, but then it activated and I was like "Oh Shit, okay!!!!"

Then they subverted the evil AI trope, having the robot professor actually want to help us, but knowing they'll turn against us because of their programming... beautiful showstopping spectacular

I had a few fears going into the final battle (would we have to send Koraidon back to the past? Were we gonna loose Mabostiff for Dramatic Effect, wasting all the work we'd put in with Arven?) And I'm SO GLAD I was wrong.

The final storyline ended in such a satisfying way, and I was actually astounded by the level of care that went into the writing. My expectations after swsh and pla were not high, and I was blown away

I've never had a game make me actually cry before, let alone twice (once when Mabostiff was fully healed and once when Arven found out about his mom/lost AI Sada too. Yes Arven is my favorite why do you ask)

I am so happy with this game. Did it need some more time to iron out the rendering kinks? Absolutely. Were the programmers probably way overworked and am I totally pissed about that? Yeah 100%. But I can tell a lot of love went into this game, it's writing and characters, and I've still got more to do! There's a ton of post game activities I haven't even started yet

Overall I loved this game and I'm going to go cry some more now

You super do not have to answer this if you don't wanna, but seeing all the OCs after following your blog made me really put a lot into my PC in scarlet. Her name is Blair, she has the space buns always, freckles, and the stern frown face. She tends to be v deadpan, but is a huge shit disturber. Despite seeming like the preppy type she struggles a lot in most subjects except for history, her special interest and needs nemonas help with school. She WILL needle and prod at teachers and Geeta (once she gets more comfortable) to try and get a rise out of them if she thinks she can get away with it. Very preoccupied with the ~aesthetics~ of her team and herself (her colours are light blue, white, and gold), and her ace is a shiny Glimmora. HATES losing at anything, but looooves to use her unreadable deadpan humour to start fights with people (esp penny). Has a big crush on Nemona but Will Not Admit It.

If Gene does end up being a teacher at the school she would absolutely just try to bamboozle him into giving her better grades. Walks up after class very confidently and says "Pardon me, you graded this wrong. This should be an A minus." Would def try to time it for when he's in a rush to minimize likelihood of him actually checking.

FJHSKJDF GO FOR IT BLAIR, honestly at some point the teachers will just be glad that she's one of the students that are participating and trying to do well even when she's struggling 🤔🤔🤔

Ghmh yeah I have been thinking abt that for a while now, mainly bc it'd be funny if in a lil timeskip, Iris becomes the lil pseudo leader of the next gen champs and she's there vibing bc she's kinda like Lance hahaha even better she also wears a cape lmao

Anyways that'd be fun tho, but idk which one of the current champs to actually lose and give up the champion title. Then again, Geeta would still be top champ, but then there's Nemona and Florian y'know

With Indigo's league, it would be cool if Silver is actually the next Champion rather than Gold. Idk cause like, in my hcs Gold didn't really care much abt the league, he's just cool venturing around and helping his grandparents at the daycare; Silver on the other hand was determined to become Champion, I wanna say he would be able to beat Lance and be Indigo's new champ

Hoenn's league, May honestly just wanted that title to spite her father lol. Like, homegirl was already a battling prodigy, beat the Frontier Brains, and has Rayquaza with her, what more another title right. Idk if I do want Hoenn to still have two Champions, cause in my hcs Unova and Paldea already has two (technically three for Paldea but again, Geeta's in a diff rank)

Sinnoh's league, it's Dawn ofc. As much as Cynthia doesn't want her to be the next champ, Dawn was a strong trainer. She also wanted that Champion title since the start, and hey she really worked hard to get it y'know. Cynthia is there to guide her tho, homegirl doesn't want Dawn to go through the same shit as her

Unova's league, well, still Iris and Hilbert are the champs hahah but like, outside Unova, Iris is more well known as she's been Champion the longest and the fact between the two of them she's the one who attends meetings and gatherings, Hilbert only ever attends when Iris calls in sick or she really couldn't atm

Kalos' league, Calem becomes the next champ. I do have a lil concept abt this, like,, Calem is a lonely kid man, ik I compared him to May in my hcs, and the main difference abt them is that May forged genuine connections with her friends, whereas Calem tried but he just couldn't connect with the Kalos kids on a deeper level. Which, yeah, made him lonely, thinking that if he becomes Champion, it'd make him forget abt that loneliness. It didn't. Diantha is trying to help him through t ofc, she knows the feeling of loneliness all too well

Alola's league, it's still Hau hahah c'mon I think the kid deserves it, he's like, strong af too. Idk, I want him to have some sort of reputation hahah like, new challengers would always encounter him at random points, and he's like, very chill y'know, he's just vibing, encouraging new trainers to do their best, but during Champion battles, it feels like he becomes a different person that it actually scared the trainers hahaha

Galar's league, it's Gloria. Felt absolutely bad she beat Hop, low-key felt proud of herself beating Leon, either way, she doesn't know what to feel sometimes now that she's Champion. And hey not like it was during Leon's time, Rose isn't around anymore, and Leon made a few changes at how the League runs with young Champions before she beat him, so hey y'know. Honestly a bit intimidated w her new title, but tries not to show it

Paldea's league, Nemona and Florian ofc hahah. I mean, Geeta's still around ofc, but hey. Anyways yeah, these two are Paldea's champs and Nemona is the overly competitive one that she challenged Silver once like really pissed him off bc she wouldn't stop bugging him hahah (it ended up tied) and then there's Florian who's just trying to keep Nemona in check too, but also enables her in pissing off Silver bc he thinks it's entertaining

It would be fun tho to make concepts abt them, but hey yeah, feel free to send asks abt them if you guys want hahah
